In Memory of All those who lost their lives as a result of the tsunamis that struck the east coast, and more specifically, the wonderful people of Nagapattinam in Tamilnadu which bore the brunt….A place where, till recently, I spent close to two years….And a place which is now short by a few people whom I knew personally….May their souls Rest In Peace…..

Exams also translate to surfing big-time…. Here’s a iPod mini ad thats doing the rounds of almost all tech blogs across the world….This ad was made by an amateur and is now currently the talk on every ad-man’s blog…. You can get the ad here…It’s 10MB but worth every bit, more so considering what a professional agency would have charged for such kinda work

A walk through the history of personal journalism..It’s an 8min A/V presentation…A must watch…..It talks of how the online media space is gonna shape up in the coming years…..of a world without NYT and G00gle & Amazon merging to form G00gleZon….Amazing are those minds that have little work ;)

Today was a funny day…Today was also a gr8 day….Today was also a sad day…Today was also a very good day……And why, today I apped to a company that came on campus…..the second one that i did…..It was a small s/w company that specializes in providing mobile platforms and with quiet a decent clientele at that….The main thing funny was that there were hardly 30 odd people while the going number for any job here is atleast a 100 :p …..The gr8 thing was that I found myself short-listed, which compounded my cerebral issues….to go or not to go….And when i finally took the decision of sitting for the process, something sad happened…..The process was a short interview of close to 10mins…..Yours truly truly believes he had had a fab intv, was told so by the interviewer too…..Now this is way too much coincidence for me…..and the fact that the guy from the company actually went on to discuss the compensation package and position for me meant the day was supposed to end on good…….And sure it did end good…..Was dinged by the time i returned home……I live to survive another interview, another day, another job, another company !!! Move on…….
And talkin of funny things, we also had Tata Teleservices yesterday……And new-comers to the college were sure made to believe it was a jamboree of sorts with those folks plastering every single wall with posters promoting their mobile services !!! Pretty pretty funny i thought…..Strange indeed are the ways of promotion….
Biological & Academic Panaceas
‘Tis official now….Seems word has leaked to the world that me ain’t interested in updating this blog anymore…..And hence, some wise soul saw it fit that he/she/it spam it to his/her/its heart’s delight rather than leave it in such a moribund state…..And the fool that I was, the minute i saw i had over 60new comments in a day, was left wondering which news portal covered me ;)
Anyways, had to swat almost a 100 comments since yesterday and now the commenting system is kinda screwed……Not that there’s anything worth commenting here, just so it gives me an assuring feeling that my blog is frequented by people other than those with biological and harmonal panaceas
And yes, i have my mids from monday…Just had a dekko @ the schedule…not bad at all….7 papers in 5 days…Final mids of this MBA….Remains to be seen who has the parting shot If only one of those spammers could provide me with an academic panacea :p
