He who comes out enlightened from the movie shall not be afraid to post!!
Just coming back from a preview screening of Anniyan !!(aparichitudu in telugu) Said to be the costliest tamil movie ever made…Sure did leave me wondering where such huge money went..More so when you have a beaten-to-death storyline of MPD and a constant series of jabs at the Indian Society as it exists today…Talking of systemic failures and suggesting extreme solutions, like gruesome murders, which the movie did advocate to a large extent, i guess is pretty in !! Nah, I wouldn’t even want to comment on the indian version of the grim reaper’s acting prowess…The guy wasn’t really left with any choice when half the time he is busy dispatching a 100+ goons, in matrix style
It is said IDBI has financed this project to the tune of 8crores….My best wishes are with them..They would need all of it and more
ps: In case you are still wondering abt that title, its a corruption of the movie tagline that reads He who comes from hell is not afraid of hot ashes
pps: Saw the actor too waiting for his personal screening there…Having taken a liking to his previous works, sure did took a bit of control to come from there silently
extended pps: With Yahoo acquiring Dialpad, and the price of VoIP phones expected to fall, and Skype churning out an awesome product, can’t really wait for things to move forward ![]()
Reviews say its damn good. And I’ve always loved Vikram… he’s got talent unlike those stars who attract masses.
Well…Vikram was kinda convincing, as usual..But I found the storyline pretty cliched as in the kinda issues raised and solns proposed…

Looks like it is selling like Chandramuki
